Investigators with the  Oxford Police Department arrested a Jackson man Wednesday for uttering forgery.

The incident allegedly occurred on Aug. 24.

According to OPD, the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department advised them that Shedrick Walker, 41, was being held on an unrelated charge in their facility. Once they were finished processing him, OPD officers transported Walker back to Oxford where he was booked into the Lafayette County Detention Center and bond was set at $2,500.
