Kenneth D. Gunion, 69, a resident of McComb, died Dec. 21, 2016 at his residence. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, from 10 a.m. until memorial services at 11 a.m.  Rev. Gail Stratton will officiate.  Burial will be in Silver Creek Baptist Church cemetery.

Jones Family Funeral Services will handle the arrangements.

Kenneth was born Nov. 2, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Kenneth and Merle Wilson Gunion. He was a proud Eagle Scout, and a true patriot.  He attended the University of Southern Mississippi and of the Methodist Faith.  He was the former owner of the Sears Hometown Store.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent in Mr. Gunion’s honor to the local chapter of The Boy Scouts of America.

Mr. Gunion was preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Anne Caldwell, and a nephew; Robert Patrick Caldwell.

He is survived by his wife; Debbie Jo Gunion of Summit; two daughters and sons-in-law; Jennifer Gunion Davis and Brian of Conroe, Texas and Lisa Huseman and Matt of Spring, Texas; four grandchildren; Madalyn Davis, Maddox Davis, Luke Huseman and Jack Huseman, along with numerous other relatives and friends.
