BATESVILLE — Nelson Lee Stewart, 24, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, near Batesville. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville with interment in Chapel Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Lauren Bishop Stewart of Spartanburg, South Carolina; son Gunner Lee Stewart of Spartanburg, South Carolina; sisters Kaitlyn Skylar Stewart of Batesville, Christian Hope Stewart of Taylor and Megan Michelle Tomlin of Sarah; brothers Reagan Preston Stewart of Taylor, Alex Wayne Tomlin of Senatobia and Kody Allen Tomlin of Independence; mother Rebecca Daugherty Tomlin of Harmontown; father William Stewart of Taylor; maternal grandparents Jimmy Fred and Etta Smith Daugherty of Sardis and paternal grandparents Donald Lee and Karen Jaudon Nelson of Batesville.
