OXFORD — Joyce Jones of Water Valley died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, from 5-7 p.m. at Seven Oaks Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Bobby Lee Jones and David Major Jones; four brothers, David Poyner, William Poyner, Charles Lee Poyner and William Poyner; and one grandchild.

She is survived by her husband Roy Jones of Water Valley; daughter Linda Royer of Water Valley; three sisters, Patsy Obermarker of Licking, Missouri, Frances McGonagill of Coffeeville and Shirley Johnson of Houston, Mississippi; four brothers, Jimmy Poyner, Lee Crockett and Danny Crockett, all of Houston, Mississippi, and Raymond Poyner of Coffeeville; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
