WATER VALLEY — Marvin Dickey, 90, died on Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley.

The family would like to express that there will be no services due to Mr. Dickey’s final wishes. Therefore, they would like to thank all of their friends and family for the love and support they have shown during this time.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James Dickey, Donald Dickey, and Billy Mack Dickey.

He is survived by two brothers, Robert Dickey of Water Valley and Richard D. Dickey of Plano, Texas; two sisters, Mary Alice Hayles of Water Valley and Hilda McCord of Memphis, Tennessee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
