WATER VALLEY — Jesse L. Anderson, 86, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at Yalobusha County Nursing Home in Water Valley. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Billy Anderson and Bobby Anderson.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carolyn Hurt Anderson of Batesville; daughters Linda Anderson Reece of Batesville and Laurie Anderson Robinson of Enterprise; son Douglas Anderson of Water Valley; brother Thomas Ray Anderson of Meridian; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
