Oxford named among 20 best cities for a girlfriend getaway weekend

If you need a relaxing weekend getaway with the girls without spending too much or leaving the country, Oxford just might be the place to go.
Named among TripAdvisor’s 20 Best Girlfriend Getaways You Can Take Without a Passport, the website’s algorithm “analyzed every property review on TripAdvisorRentals to identify the destinations with the highest-rated rental homes for hosting a girls weekend.”
Oxford is noted by TripAdvisor as a “must-visit” town for literary nerds, touting Rowan Oak, Square Books and City Grocery as top attractions.
The list includes cities from across the country, but the South made an excellent showing, accounting for half the list.
