The Pantry serves more than 13,000 individuals

The Pantry Board would like to offer our sincere thanks to all of the community spirited members of North Oxford Baptist Church and Peace Lutheran Church who volunteered to served 475 households for a total of 1,064 people in the month of December.

The Pantry served a total of 13,086 individuals in 2016. We sincerely appreciate the support of our generous community to be able to provide assistance to our residents..

Many thanks and much appreciation to: North East Power Company, 100 Men of Oxford & Lafayette County,  Night Owls Motorcycle Club of Oxford, UM Food Pantry Holiday Food Drive, Gertrude Ford Center Gingerbread Program, UM Health, Exercise Science & Recreation Management, Next Gear Solutions Company of Oxford, Woodland Hills Donation,  (OHS student, Swayze Elliott organized and collected these donations from her subdivision). These eight December Food Drives totaled 13,000 pounds of dry and canned goods.

SAVE THE DATE:

The Empty Bowls Fundraiser is Feb. 14 from 11-1 at the Oxford Conference Center. Also, Girl Scout Pantry Day is Feb. 4. They will be collecting at Walmart, Cash Saver and Kroger from 10-4.

Donate in honor of a loved one with a Pantry donation gift card. These cards are available at the Origin Bank located at 1312 University Avenue in Oxford.        

The Pantry is located at 713 Molly Barr Road in Oxford. The Pantry cell number is 662-832-8001.

The Pantry is open on Tuesdays from 9-10 for donations. On Wednesdays from 9-11 for clients under the age of 65, and on Thursdays from 9-11 for clients 65 and older.

When dropping off donations, please sign the “Donor Book” and include a correct mailing address if you would like a tax receipt for your gift.
