OXFORD — Carolyn R. Nickle, 82, of Batesville, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at 3 p.m. in Batesville Presbyterian Church with interment in Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville. Wells Funeral Home in Batesville was in charge of arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. “Bill” Nickle.

She is survived by daughter Susan Nickle Smith of Oxford; son William Steven Nickle of Batesville; sister Kay Robinson Sorrells of Brentwood, Tennessee; brother Kenny Robinson of Kilmichael; four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
