WATER VALLEY — Charles Norman Cooper, 87, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley. Visiation will be held on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, from 12 noon until service time at Seven Oaks, which is in charge of arrangements.

He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Enrique Ortiz Cooper of Water Valley; daughter Terri Cooper Dunham of Marked Tree, Arkansas; Jamie Cooper of Portland, Oregon; two granddaughters, one great-granddaughter and one great-grandson.
