Patricia Eades Jones

Patricia “Pat” Eades Jones, 69, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, at Yellow Leaf Cemetery with Rev. Fish Robinson officiating. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Winona, to the late James Clifford and Alta Louise Rosamond Eades, Patricia grew up in Hollandale, Mississippi, and graduated from Hollandale High School.  She was a former Human Resource Manager for Modern Line Technology (MTD) in Indianola, and retired from the Mississippi Small Business Development Center at the University of Mississppi. She enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a generous and loving person, giving to family and everyone. She was known as Granny to all friends and family and insisted those she met call her that as well. She was an avid Ole Miss football fan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her stepfather, George “Rusty” Hill, a sister, Geraldine Eades Taylor and a brother, Lowell Hill.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Melissa Williams Sallis of Abbeville; a son, Ken Williams and his wife, Baerbel, of Abbeville; a sister, Alta Hill Dewey and her husband, Thomas of Oxford; a brother, Danny Hill of Santa Maria, California; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
