Oxford’s Marquis Towing has credit card stolen
The Oxford Police Department responded to Marquis Towing Sunday in reference to a stolen credit card that belonged to the business.
Investigators claim Andrew Goodwin, 19, and Alexis Wright, 21, stole the card and used it at various locations throughout Oxford and Lafayette County, spending more than $1,000.
Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office were able to locate Goodwin and Wright and arrest them for credit card fraud. They were taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where they were both booked on $2,500 bonds.
