An Oxford man has been arrested for attempting to sexually assault a female he offered to drive home Friday night.

According to the Oxford Police Department, the victim claimed she was walking home on Jackson Avenue when a male subject approached her.

She said the man offered to drive her home. She claimed the next thing she remembered was waking up inside the house
