With the Double Decker Arts Festival fast approaching at the end of April, Visit Oxford has sent out a call for anyone is willing to volunteer for the event.

Lee Ann Stubbs, the Double Decker Coordinator, says that the festival needs individuals for the week of the festival and throughout the entire weekend.

“During the week we will need volunteers putting flyers on cars about street closers and other different things,” Stubbs said. “During the festival we will need volunteers for all sorts of different tasks, including helping at the information booth, merchandise booth, double decker bus rides, collecting art vendor taxes and at the Square fair.”

Those looking to sign up can do so on the Double Decker website and there will be a brief informational meeting the week of the festival.

The Double Decker Arts Festival will be April 28-29.
