Tyler Matthew Hanks and Hannah Nicole Lessel were married at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Abbeville.

A reception was held following the ceremony in the church’s Fellowship Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Jennifer Gordon and Dave Lessel, both of Hickory Flat, and the granddaughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Don Newton of Hickory Flat and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lessel of New Albany.

She is a graduate of Hickory Flat Attendance Center and is a nursing student at Northwest Mississippi Community College.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Hanks of Abbeville and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Sanders of Abbeville and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Buel Hanks of Oxford.

He is a graduate of Lafayette High School and is an industrial mechanic with Southern Industrial at G.E. Aviation in Batesville.

The couple will reside in Abbeville.
