OXFORD — Lonnie “Rawhide“ Pipkin, 66, died Friday, March 17, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 25, 2017, in the Goshen Cemetery in Yalobusha County. Seven Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Bobbie Jean Dunn and three brothers, Ben “Bull” Pipkin, Ralph Pipkin and William “Bill” Dickey.

He is survived by his two sons, James Pipkin of Memphis, Tennessee and Lon Michael Pipkin of Oakland; his brother, Dan Pipkin of Oakland; and his granddaughter, Haley Michelle Pipkin of Thaxton.
