WATER VALLEY — Jimmy Joe Hampton, 73, died Sunday, March 26, 2017, at his home in Water Valley. A memorial service will be announced by the family at a later date. Seven Oaks Funeral Home of Water Valley is in charge of arrangements

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Elvia Hampton of Water Valley; daughter, Ashley Dikes of Quitman; brother, Wes Hampton of Virginia; brother-in-law, James Bergeron of Gulfport; and grandson, Jacob.
