OXFORD — Hattie Mae Mathis, 83, of Water Valley, died Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral home with burial to follow in Mount Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2017, from noon until service time at Seven Oaks Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by daughters Joan Cade, Barbara Gray, and Mary Reed, all of Water Valley, Carol Palmer, Dede Bartels and Sissy Finch, all of Zeeland, Michigan; sons Carl Finch II and Chet Mathis, both of Water Valley, Charles Mathis of Ridgeland and William Dickey of Michigan; brothers Dewitt Kehoe, Earl Kehoe and ben Horan, all of Water Valley; 25 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
