OXFORD — Young Roosevelt Busby, 75, of Abbeville, died Monday, April 10, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 14, 2017, at 2 p.m. in Mr. Busby’s home, 33 Park Dr., with burial to follow in Abbeville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Angeline Busby.

He is survived by daughters Marilyn Gordon of Abbeville and Rosie Lynn Thoms of Senatobia; son Christopher Young Busby of Abbeville; two granddaughters, four grandsons, two great-grandsons, two brothers, two sisters and a host of nieces and nephews.
