On Thursday, Aug. 17, Lafayette Oxford Foundation for Tomorrow (LOFT) will host the 2nd annual “Night for Nonprofits” event at the Powerhouse from 6:30-9 p.m., featuring a grant awards ceremony and the award of grants totaling $27,500.     

There will be five separate $5,000 grants distributed as well as an audience vote grant award for $2,500.

Any Lafayette County 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is eligible to participate and submit a proposal on how they would utilize a $5,000 grant award to improve the quality of life in the Oxford-Lafayette community.

The deadline for applications is May 31.
