Oxford Police Department arrests one for credit card fraud

An Oxford woman was arrested Wednesday for allegedly using a misplaced credit card that didn’t belong to her at various Oxford businesses.

According to the report, Cameron Triplett, 23, of Oxford was charged with credit card fraud after someone filed a report with OPD, claiming they lost their credit card somewhere on the Square. There were several unauthorized purchases made with the card. After an investigation, Triplett was identified as the one making the purchases.

Triplett was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where she was booked on a $2,500 bond.
