Como man charged with stolen Xbox

A Como man was arrested recently for allegedly stealing an Xbox, games and shoes from someone’s apartment.

According to the Oxford Police Department, on Nov. 9, 2016, investigators took a report regarding a residential burglary from a man who claimed the items were stolen from his apartment while he slept.

Investigators were able to link a man, Quintez Perry, 21, as a person of interest. Perry lived with the victim previously. On Nov. 10, Perry sold one of the video games at a pawnshop in Memphis.

An arrest warrant was issued for Perry and on Saturday he was arrested at a traffic stop on Highway 6.

He was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $2,500 bond.
