Mrs. Sherry Groner Hollowell, 59, passed away at her home in Water Valley, Tuesday, May 1, 2017.

Mrs. Hollowell was born in Taylor. She absolutely loved playing with her cats.  Some of her favorite hobbies included taking care of her flowers, gardening, being outside, and spending time with her family.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 4, 2017, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 5 p.m., also at Coleman Funeral Home.  Adam Smith will be officiating.

She is survived by one son, Brandon “B” (Marie) Hollowell of Water Valley; one daughter, Tonia “Sissy” (Nathaniel) Hollowell of Oxford; four sisters, Brenda (Joel) Surrette of Batesville, Jane (Dale) Petty of Marietta, Edna (Jim) Spencer of Saltillo, and Charlotte (Jerry) Adams of Oxford;  three grandsons, Devin Miller, Hayden Leamond, and Noah Johnsey, all of Oxford, and her boyfriend, Robert Garrett of Enid.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Burlin Hollowell, and her parents, James and Hallie Groner.
