Sylvia Benton Davis Wilson, 83, died May 4, 2017, at the University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Allen officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Born in Houlka to the late Bill Luker and Lee Davis, Jr., Ms. Wilson received undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Mississippi and participated in the executive development program at Louisiana State University. She was retired from Michael Baker Engineering where she was the Vice President and Personnel Security Director for the Jackson Office. She was past president of the Jackson Chapter of Executive Women International and past member of the International Board of Directors for EWI.

She is survived by her three sons, Ben Wilson and his wife, Theresa of Terry, Chad Wilson and his wife, Jackie of Brandon, and Greg Wilson of Hoover, Alabama; two sisters, Lee Benoit of Oxford, and Joni Church and her husband, Bud of Germantown, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Kirk, Nick, Brandon, Austin and Jordan Wilson and Brooke Wilsner and three great grandchildren, Harper, Rory and Hunter Wilson.

Memorial contributions in Ms. Wilson’s memory may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923.
