Sue Bishop Bundren

Mrs. Sue Bishop Bundren, 85, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017, at Oxford Health and Rehab in Oxford.

Mrs. Bundren was born in Lafayette County.  She was a member of Yellow Leaf Baptist Church.  Mrs. Bundren was famous for her homemade strawberry cake.  She loved being around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, gardening, flowers, and cooking.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 16, 2017, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home.  A funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. also at Coleman Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Oxford.  Bro. Chuck Fowler and Bro. Mike Wolfe will officiate.

She is survived by one daughter, Ruth (William Michael) Foster of Oxford; one grandson, James C. (Jennifer) Foster of Senatobia; three granddaughters, LeAnn (Curt) Klepzig of Charleston, Tennessee, Amy (Larry) Dobson of Camden, Tennessee, and Amanda (Grant) Crockett of Oxford; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bobby Bundren; and her sister, Fannie Ratliff.
