Edith Earline Stapp Montgomery, 81, died Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Sardis Nursing Home in Sardis. The funeral service will be held Monday, June 19, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with burial to follow in Acree Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. prior to the service at Waller Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Montgomery; sisters, Judith Partain and Mary Cox and a brother, A.T. Stapp.

Survivors include her daughter, Tonya Kay Fogarty of Batesville; sons, Richard Lee Montgomery of Houston, Texas, John Randall Montgomery and Bobby Montgomery, both of Batesville; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
