Gloria Jean Dooley, 77, of Senatobia, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Senatobia Healthcare and Rehab.

She retired from Landau and was a member of First Baptist Church Senatobia and their choir for 39 years. She enjoyed family, friends, travel, singing in the choir and her dog, Amy.

Gloria is survived by her sisters, Ina Dooley of Senatobia, and Jane Gooch (Lanny) of Houston, Mississippi; brother-in-law, Bobby Freeman of Coldwater; 10 nieces and nephews, 22 great nieces and nephews and 15 great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles D. and Beulah Dooley; sister, Barbara Freeman and brother, Charles W. Dooley.

Memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church Senatobia.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Senatobia Healthcare and Rehab for their loving care to Gloria.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia and also on Sunday, July 16, from 1 to 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Senatobia with services beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in New El Bethel Cemetery in Oxford.
