OXFORD — Lynn Young Paterson died Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 27, 2017, from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Young.

She is survived by her husband, James Paterson of Oxford; daughters Elizabeth Ashley Boutwell and Lou Anna Whitten Boutwell, both of Oxford, and Elizabeth Paterson Edwards of Atlanta, Georgia; son Thomas McLean Paterson of Knoxville, Tennessee; mother Lib Young of Oxford; brother Les Young of Senatobia; sister Lee Young Starnes of Oxford; and eight grandchildren.
