Lester King Michelletti

Mr. Lester King Michelletti, 70, passed away after a short battle with cancer on Monday, July 31, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford.

Mr. Michelletti was born in Waco, Texas.  He was a carpenter/general contractor his entire life, and was very successful and proficient in his work.  Mr. Michelletti was an avid outdoorsman. He loved gardening, fishing, duck hunting, and woodworking.  However, he loved his family above all else.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jane A. Michelletti of Paris, Mississippi; one daughter, Lynn Michelletti (Chris) Rubenstahl of Leonardtown, Maryland; one son, William “Billy” H. Michelletti of Paris; two brothers, John “Mike” Carl Michelletti, Jr. of Paris, and Virgil Dewey (Lisa) Michelletti of Philadelphia, Mississippi; three sisters, Marcia M. (Larry) Sprouse of Water Valley, Susan C. Murphy of Xenia, Ohio, and Carol C. (Roy) Clark of Indianola; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Gail Michelletti; his parents, L.C. and Marguerite K. Cook; and two brothers, Peter J. Michelletti and Jack H. Michelletti.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
