Mrs. Sarah Winter Tuttle passed from this life to her heavenly home on Aug. 7, 2017, at the age of 78. She was born in Tunica, Mississippi to J.T. and Monette Winter. While attending Northwest Mississippi Community College, she met and eventually married the love of her life, James Robert Tuttle. Sarah and her family moved to Vicksburg in 1968. She raised her family and had a career in the health care field as a medical billing clerk for the Vicksburg Hospital and Rasch Chiropractic Clinic. Sarah was a member of Highland Baptist Church where she served as a church pianist and a Sunday school teacher. She received her greatest joy golfing and traveling with her husband, visiting and being with her children and grandchildren and attending and serving God with her church family.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband James Tuttle, her father, mother and sister Charlotte Bennett.

She is survived by her three children Teresa K Bailey (Ron) of Chelsea, Oklahoma, James M. Tuttle (Meg) of Cleveland, Mississippi, and Stephen L Tuttle of Brandon.

She is also survived by one sibling Nina Rikard of Oxford, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews will also miss their Aunt Sarah. Sarah and James will also be missed by so many others whose lives were touched by their many selfless acts of kindness.

Services will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017, and at 11 a.m. on Aug. 10, 2017, with funeral to follow at 12 p.m.  Services will be officiated by Reverend Brian Ivey. Pallbearers are Dustin Lusby, Nathan Lusby, Jimbo Lusby, Peyton Tuttle, Jeff Tuttle and Pat Rikard. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
