Mr. Prince Burt Jr., 66, Passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi.

Mr. Burt was born in Burgess, MS. He absolutely loved sports, especially football. Mr. Burt played football at Central High School and at the collegiate level for Jackson State University. His favorite teams were the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots. Mr. Burt had to have his music to get him through his day. He also loved spending time with the Baskins and Lewis families; however, his father was his rock and best friend. He loved any time that he got to spend with his father.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 11, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Coleman Funeral Home. A funeral services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Clear Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Oxford, MS. Interment will be at Clear Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Will A. Owens will officiate.

He is survived by two sons, Devin (Yolanda) Tyson and Aaron (Krystal) Gilliom, both of Oxford; four sisters, Ruthie Vaughn of Oxford, Miami (Michael) Fountain of Houston, TX, Shay Nelson of Sardis, MS, and Sheila(Gerald) Bowdry of Rock Island, IL; seven brothers, James Hutchins of Rock Island, IL, Billy Ray Hutchins of Reno, NV, Tracy Gutchins and Rev. Ralf Kelly, both of Davenport, IA, and Larry Johnson, Lee-Lee Johnson, and Franklin Thompson, all of Oxford; and Eunice Burt of Oxford.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Amynail Willingham.
