Jo Turnbull, 81, died Saturday, August 12, 2017 at North Delta Hospice in Southaven, Mississippi. The graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 11:30 A.M. at Eastover Memorial Cemetery, with Father Joe Tonos officiating.  Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Charley and Velma Saulsbury Richardson, Mrs. Turnbull was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Oxford, MS and was a former resident of Oxford. Mrs. Turnbull loved cooking for her family and enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ness Turnbull and son-in-law, John Lyon.

Mrs. Turnbull is survived by her daughters, Tonya Lyon of Byhalia, MS and Carrie Brown and her husband Joe of Byhalia, MS; a son, Randy Turnbull and his wife Valeria of Brighton, TN; a sister, Frances Kuhlman of Moore, OK; a brother, Russell Richardson of Norman, OK; three grandchildren; Wendy Turnbull, Candice Ayers and her husband Paul, and Joey Turnbull; two great grandchildren; Kaylynn Lyles, and Tucker Ayers.

Memorial contributions in Mrs. Turnbull’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
