OXFORD, Miss. — The annual Oxford Intermediate School (OIS) Apple Raffle sponsored by the OIS Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), is in full swing. OIS is raffling off a $3,000 Apple Gift Card and other great prizes, and currently fifth- and sixth-grade students are selling raffle tickets for $5 each.

One lucky winner will enjoy a $3,000 shopping spree at their leisure in an Apple Store or online. Great products such as iPhones, iPads, iPods, and laptops are items that can be purchased. With the gift cards not set to expire, the grand prize winner can use the gift cards over time, if he or she wishes not to spend it all at once.

“The Apple Raffle has provided our close-knit community with an opportunity to contribute to Oxford Intermediate School’s educational needs while allowing the students to learn to set and achieve their own goals through the raffle incentive program,” says Ashley Windham, OIS PTO Apple Raffle co-chair.

Students and teachers who sell the most tickets will be in the running for a list of prizes, too. The grand prize drawing for the $3,000 shopping spree and other OIS Apple Raffle prizes will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017, at Oxford Intermediate School with Oxford Mayor Robyn Tannehill pulling the winning raffle ticket.
