Master John Shelby Leo Wohlwend died Saturday, September 2, at his home in Kilmichael.  He was the nine-month-old son of Lanie Pace of Kilmichael and Dustin Wohlwend of Oxford.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7, from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m., at Huntsville Church of Christ near Kilmichael, with funeral services following at 5:00.  Burial will be in the Huntsville Cemetery.  Mr. Nathan Wright will officiate the services.

John was born on November 9, 2016, in Grenada.  He is survived by his parents; his stepfather, Morgan Henry of Oxford; sisters, Ellie-Jo Helena Pace and Ruby Kathryn Henry, both of Kilmichael; maternal grandparents, Shelby Pace of Starkville, Jimmy Jackson of Oxford; paternal grandparents, Jeffrey and Jacqueline Reynolds of Olive Branch; step-grandparents, Rick and Lisa Henry of Oxford; maternal great-grandmother, Joanne Pace of Kilmichael; paternal great-grandmother, Norma Ann Wohlwend of Courtland; aunts, Callie Cook of Oklahoma, Callie Wohlwend of Oxford, Korey Keleman of Detroit, Michigan, Hannah Reynolds of Olive Branch; uncle, Dylan Ballard of Oxford; and many great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, John Pace Jr., and his paternal great-grandfather, George Leo Wohlwend.

Pallbearers are Charles Nalley, Dylan Ballard, Jimmy Jackson and David Pace.
