Hazel Maxine Brown Hall

Hazel Maxine Brown Hall, age 90, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at Magnolia Place in New Albany. She was born September 17, 1926 in Union County to Twyford Owen Brown and Corrie Etta Hall Brown. She was retired as a registered nurse from Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union County. She was a member of Wallerville Baptist Church and the Eastern Star organization. She also did volunteer work at the hospital.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at United Funeral Service with Bro. Johnny Rakestraw and Bro. Everett Childers officiating. Burial will be at Martin Cemetery. United Funeral Service will be in charge of the arrangements.

She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Bramlitt (Kenneth), Gwynn Barkley (Wayne) and Teresa Stokes; five sons, Everett Childers Jr. (Connie), David Childers (Cindy), John Childers (Theresa), John Hall (Donna) and Jerry Hall (Mittianne); three sisters, Mary Ellen Johnston of Bartlett, TN, Cherry Dale Ferrera of Bartlett, TN and Patricia Holden of Dallas TX; three brothers, Houston Brown of Southaven, MS, Fred Brown of Red Banks, MS and Billy Don Brown of Germantown, MS; twenty grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Everett Childers (Deceased 1967); her second husband; Marlin L. Hall (Deceased 2006); a daughter, Lynn Andrews, two sons-in-law, Wade Andrews and Keith Stokes; and a brother, Herbert Brown.

Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Friday, September 15, 2017 from 12 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
