OXFORD, Miss. – The 2017 cross country season continues Friday as the Ole Miss men and women are set to host the Rebel Invite.

The meet will feature a women’s 5K beginning at 6:45 p.m., and a men’s 6K beginning at 7:15 p.m. Both races will take place at FNC Park in Oxford at 328 Old Sardis Road. Admission and parking will be free.

The Rebel Invite will host seven other schools including Southern Miss, Jackson State, Rust College and William Carey.

The men’s team is ranked No. 22 in the USTFCCCA Coaches’ Poll as well as second in the South Region rankings after their fourth-place finish at the Brooks Memphis Twilight Classic.

The women’s team comes into this meet ranked 16th in the USTFCCCA Coaches’ Poll after a third-place finish in Memphis, and still ranked first in the South Region.

This will be the second regular-season home meet in Coach Ryan Vanhoy’s tenure after last year’s meet.
