Eunice Corder Little, age 90, passed from this life on September 12, 2017 at her home in Grenada, MS.  A celebration of her life was held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with the Rev. Billy Little officiating. A Graveside service followed at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County.

Eunice used her strong Christian faith for her ministry as a sitter in the hospital, nursing home and personal homes.  Her wisdom, gentleness, kindness and humbleness were gifts she freely gave to others.  Though she was a quiet southern lady, she was an encourager to her boys as they grew to adulthood.  “Strive to be your very best” were words they heard often.  She enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting and having her family around her dinner table.

Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, of 71 years.  She was the last surviving sibling in a family of eleven Corders.

Survivors include sons Nelson K. Little and wife, Cascielle of Oxford, MS and Edwin Little and wife, Judi, of Monroe, LA.  Eunice enjoyed six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are beloved family members: Blake Little, Paxton Little, Aaron Sherman, Wayne Corder, Larry Patton and John Lamkin.

The family wishes to extend gracious gratitude to Pearlene Liddell and Jamie Bowdry for their love, care and attention toward Eunice.
