Mrs. Martha Louise McDonald, 65, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at her residence in Olive Branch, MS. A visitation will be Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home. Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McDonald was born in Oxford, MS. Having been raised in Oxford, she was an avid and lifelong Ole Miss fan. In her spare time, Mrs. McDonald enjoyed reading, crocheting, and gardening. She loved tending to her flower beds outside, but more importantly, she enjoyed the care and love she gave to her house plants. In high school, Mrs. McDonald ran track and was also on the color guard. Whenever she was asked, Mrs. McDonald would tell you her greatest achievement in life was raising her four children and seeing her eleven grandchildren come into the world.

Mrs. McDonald is survived by her husband, Charles Lee McDonald of Olive Branch; son, William Jeffrey Houston of Olive Branch; three daughters, Melissa Kristina (Nathan) Durham of Byhalia, MS, Ashley Deann Sappington of Olive Branch; son-in-law, Mike Rhea of Brazil, IN; brother, Alfred (Carol) Livingston of Oxford; sister, Jackie Wheeler of Oxford; eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Bertis Livingston; and daughter, Tracy Rhea.
