Mollie Melvin Ray Bunch, 97, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, at Yalobusha County Nursing Home.  The funeral service was held Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Lipe officiating. Visitation was held prior to the service. Burial followed in Clear Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Bunch was born in New Albany, Miss to the late Roy Ray and Dovie Morris Ray. The widow of Mr. Horace Bunch, she was an active member of Clear Creek Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and taught children’s Sunday school. Mrs. Bunch enjoyed fishing, crocheting, quilting, and cooking for her family. She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Lott.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Lott and his wife, Jill of Austin, TX; and Roy Bunch and his wife, Sue of Oxford, MS.  She is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
