Dorothy Ellzey Kisner, 95, died Oct. 16, 2017, at Yalobusha County Nursing Home in Water Valley, Miss. A graveside service was held Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 at 11 a.m., at Oxford Memorial Cemetery with Anthony Williams officiating. Waller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Born in Ashland, Miss., to Roscoe and Joe Gault Ellzey, Mrs. Kisner was a homemaker who loved her family very much. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kisner and a son, Joe Glenn Kisner.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Herrington; son, Donald Kisner and his wife, Janet; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren

Memorial contributions in Mrs. Kisner’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Mississippi, 232 Market Street, Flowood, MS 39232.
