Brenda Moore Irby, age 61, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Oxford.  She was born September 10, 1956 to Charles Moore and Dorothy Jane Pepper Brooks in Jackson. She worked as a clerk at Kolbs Cleaners in Jackson before moving to Oxford and living the past 23 years.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017 at Yellow Leaf Baptist Church in Oxford with Bro. Van Moore and Bro. Shane McGivney officiating.  Burial will be in Church Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, James Irby of Oxford; one daughter, Donna Kathryn Skipworth of Oxford; one son, Kenny Skipworth (Dana) of Oxford; one sister, Kathy Wallace, (Calvin) of Brookhaven; two brothers, Van Moore (Judy) of Aberdeen, and Mark Moore (Beverly) of Byrum; one stepson, Forrest Irby (Christy) of Pontotoc; four grandchildren, Tyler, Chris, Ben, and Sarah.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time, Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017 at Yellow Leaf Baptist Church.
