Dan Pipkin

Dan “Pee Wee” Pipkin, age 70, of Coffeeville, Miss. died Oct. 23, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford, Miss.  He was born on July 28, 1947 to the late Robert Benjamin Pipkin and Dollie Gilmore Pipkin in Coffeeville, Miss. and worked as a road crewman for Yalobusha County until his retirement.  Dan enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching wrestling, and his faithful dog, Bandit, was his constant companion.  Dan was a member of Gatewood Church of God in Coffeeville.

Visitation is planned for Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley from 5 a.m. until 7 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at Seven Oaks Venue on Main Street in Coffeeville at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 with Bro. Johnny Cherry officiating.  Burial will follow in Goshen Cemetery.

Dan is survived by his daughter, Amanda LaCook Bennett and her husband, Anthony of Water Valley, Miss; and two grandchildren, Ginger Bennett and Hunter Bennett, both of Water Valley, Miss.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by a sister, Bobbie Jean Dunn; and four brothers, Ralph, Pipkin, Bill Dickey, Ben Pipkin and Lonnie Pipkin.
