After his marketing business saw great success in its first two years of operation in Athens, Georgia, Will Morrow decided to bring Morrow Creative to Oxford, to the town he fell in love with while attending the University of Mississippi.

Morrow, who serves as vice president of operations, and his father, Bruce Morrow, launched Morrow Creative in July 2014 in Georgia, where the company still operates focusing on its larger, corporate healthcare and financial services clients.

In 2016, he and his wife, Angel, moved back to Oxford where they met and fell in love while attending Ole Miss to expand Morrow Creative. Angela serves as the company’s director of business development.

“The Oxford office focuses more on our corporate logistics and women’s health clients, as well as some of the smaller businesses in the area,” Morrow told the EAGLE recently. “While we love working with some of our big clients, we really want to give back to our communities and the businesses here.”

Morrow Creative offers any marketing communication service a business could need, according to Morrow.

“We started the company by producing large awards shows and national sales meetings for some of our larger corporate clients and have branched out into offering pretty much any creative service you can think of,” he said. “Videos, print, design, public relations or a full-blown marketing communications plan for your business.”

Going into business with his father was something that seemed to just fall into place for Morrow.

“Running a family business is amazing,” he said. “As with any business, running the organization can be tough, but when you’re running a business with family, it never really stops being fun.”

Bruce Morrow has years of communications and sales experience. Beginning his career selling carnival rides and games, he eventually switched over to more communications-based roles later in his career.

“We were fortunate enough to have openings at the right time in our careers to be able to start a business three years ago,” Will Morrow said. “We were really just both at the right place at the right time.”

Marketing is an essential part of any business, but small businesses usually don’t have multi-million-dollar marketing budgets, Morrow said. Small business owners can find themselves overwhelmed with responsibilities. Sometimes marketing gets left behind.

“Our work is unique and we tell people your business’ story,” he said. “Oxford is full of stories. We’re here to help businesses tell theirs as well.”
