Mr. Chris White, 45, passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, in Oxford, Miss. Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home immediately following the visitation. Bro. Ron Province will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. White was born in Cleveland, Miss. He worked as a self-employed framer and worked in construction for most of his life. He was an avid fisherman. He loved to build things and enjoyed working with his hands.

Mr. White is survived by his mother and father, Carolyn and Dennis White of Oxford; brothers, Charles (Jessica) Durdin of Abbeville, Miss, Scott (Erin) White of Grandview, Texas; sister, Cindy Bess of Grenada, Miss; daughter, Paige Marie Birmingham of Oxford; sons, Brandon White and Jerry Miller both of Oxford; as well as three grandchildren.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emmett and Olean White, and Jewell and Nathan “Doc” Franklin.
