It’s almost Thanksgiving Day 2017, which means families and friends will gather for fellowship.

That also means that the holiday shopping season is about to begin.

To promote shopping Oxford, we are publishing our annual Gift Guide magazine in the Wednesday edition of the Oxford EAGLE. You will find tips on gift ideas for everyone in the family from local stores and hope that you will find it helpful.

This Thursday, our Thanksgiving Day paper will be filled specials for Black Friday 2017. For example, our friends at Cowboy Maloney’s will be closed on Thanksgiving Day for family time, but their doors open at 7:30 a.m. on Friday.

On Friday, with Black Friday shopping underway, our staff will be hard at work preparing, publishing and delivering a paper that will provide a complete rundown of the annual Egg Bowl between Ole Miss and Mississippi State.
