Lana McCormick, 41 of Oxford, Miss., passed away Monday, Dec.11, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford with her family by her side. Lana was born Sep. 3, 1976 to Jeanne Naquin Collins and Lanny Joseph Collins in Houma, La and married Dominic McCormick and moved to Mississippi where she became a homemaker. Lana loved staying home with Charlee, their five-year-old daughter, and enjoyed cooking and baking, as well as gardening and growing her own vegetables for her family. She was a member of Union West Baptist Church. Seven Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Services are planned for Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Seven Oaks Funeral Home with Rev. Don Shaffer officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time, and burial will be in Browning Cemetery in Lafayette County.

Lana is survived by her devoted husband, Dominic McCormick of Oxford, Miss.; a daughter, Charlee McCormick, also of Oxford, Miss.; her parents, Jeanne and Lanny Collins of Chauvin, La.; and a sister, Annie Moreau of Chauvin, La.

Lana was preceded in death by a brother, Michael James Collins.
