Mrs. Lura Tatum, 86, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford, Miss.  Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home.  A funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m., also at Coleman Funeral Home. Bro. Robert Allen will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Tatum was born in Fulton, Miss.  She worked for many years at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, working in the business department. Mrs. Tatum’s favorite activity was working in her yard and her flower beds. However, Mrs. Tatum’s heart belonged to her children and grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her family.

Mrs. Tatum is survived by one daughter, Marsha (Joe) Pace of Oxford; two sons, Lee (Ginger Patterson) Tatum of Oxford, and Doug (Robin) Tatum of Olive Branch, Miss.; and three granddaughters, Mallory P. (Sumner) Rowland of Oxford, Lauren T. Pace of Taylor, Miss., and Niki L. Tatum of Orlando, Fla.

Mrs. Tatum was preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” Tatum; and her parents, William Reeves and Eva Reeves.
