If you’ve ever wanted to be one of Santa’s elves, the Rotary Club of Oxford-Ole Miss and Interfaith Compassion Ministry are looking for volunteers to help Saturday at the annual Christmas Store.

The community-wide endeavor is in its 42nd year of service providing children in Oxford and Lafayette County gifts during the Christmas season.

This year, the club will be providing at least two toys, two books and fresh fruit to 465 children from 182 families.

Jonathan Maddox, with the Rotary Club, said the easiest way for people who want to volunteer Saturday to help hand out the bags of gifts to parents is to send an email to oxfordchristmasstore@gmail.com.
