Mr. Charles Potts Jr., passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, at the Starkville Health Center in Starkville, Miss.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Anchor Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Anchor Baptist Church. Interment will be held at Driver’s Flat Cemetery in Paris, MS. Bro. Gerald Shook will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Potts was born in Lafayette County, Miss. He worked as an auto mechanic at various shops in Mississippi. Mr. Potts was also a member of Anchor Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family, especially all the children. More than anything, Mr. Potts was a dog lover, and loved to care for his dog, Butch.

Mr. Potts is survived by his brother Benjamin “Ben” (Kayla) Potts and his niece Chloe Potts of Oxford, Miss.; two aunts; and a host of cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Bill Potts, Sr., and Marjorie Potts.
