Mr. Angel Moreno Salazar, 45, passed away Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at 1 p.m. also at Coleman Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Garden of Memories Oxford of Oxford. Father Tim Murphy will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Moreno was born in Rioverde, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. He was a member of San Christobal in Pontotoc, Miss. Mr. Moreno was an outdoors fanatic. He was always hunting, fishing and building things during his free time. He was an extremely skilled carpenter and was ecstatic to go to the work that he enjoyed so much every day.

Mr. Moreno is survived by his wife, Norma Leticia Moreno of Oxford; his father, CiPriano Moreno of Mexico; three daughters, Marisol Moreno, Ana Laura Moreno and Joselyn Cristina Moreno, all of Oxford; one son, Luis Angel Moreno of Oxford; two brothers, Eusebio (Carmen) Moreno of Waco, Texas, and Ernesto (Celia) Moreno of Oxford; four sisters, Celestina (Adrian) Aguilar, Yanet (Francisco) Reyes, and Teresa (Venedicto) Hernandez, all of Batesville, and Eliza Moreno of Mexico; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Moreno was preceded in death by his mother, MaElena Salazar; and one brother, Elino Moreno.
